Technical Director

Hi, I’ve got a question. Today I assigned my Technical Director with the ‘Fuel’ skill and ‘Rare’ rarity, which means he should display two decimal places in training sessions and races. He’s shown two decimal places in training, but during the race he’s only shown one, as you can see in the photo. What could be causing this? It cost me a lot of tokens and now it’s not working properly. Please tell me what might have happened.

The same thing has happened to me – throughout my entire career, I’ve only been given a score of one decimal place, and I have the same technical director too. Is there a problem with that?

Well, I reckon it’s a bit pointless, to be honest, because once the race is over, what difference does it make whether you see one decimal place or two? If you don’t even look at it, that’s another thing that’s been botched – those two decimal places should be visible during the race, so you can keep a more accurate track of fuel consumption, but like everything else in this game, it’s gone from bad to worse since the update, you just have to put up with it, and it costs you loads of tokens on something that’s completely useless and isn’t properly explained when you sign up for it – yet another way they get us to spend money, which is very typical of the game.

This is useful if you collect data and analyze it after races to use it later. It doesn't work for online tracking.
