A while back, a question was asked on the forum about the impact of pit crew on races. Following this, the time gap between a well-trained and poorly trained pit crew was increased (from 1 second to 2 seconds). Based on this (since some races are won and lost by milliseconds), having a 5-star pit crew is essential. Atrophy was subsequently added: useful for combating farming and encouraging in-game presence.
However, due to the high pit crew atrophy rate of -0.35% per race (always reported by everyone), the pit crew dropped from 5 stars to 4.5 stars despite being trained every day (in some cases, it even dropped to 4 stars). We've been reporting this bug for months, but nothing has ever been done.
