I am about to maximise all chassis areas, therefore, I will not need more chassis points, that means no need for providing chassis to other managers.
Problem: having clients is a flat loss of money with the upside of receiving chassis points in return. But once a manager maximises it's chassis, there is no necessity of points, and having a cost of -300k per client makes no sense. It would cost me 1.2M per race to provide the chassis to 4 clients. ( 4 points + 2 points of each of the three manufacturing centers).
Proposed solution: implement the same system engines have. Having a low number of clients doesn't provide a return, but once you reach let's say 6/10 clients, the chassis becomes profitable money wise and you get your ROI positive.
Edit for 2nd solution: to keep things spicy and to not just copy the engine system...
Keep the system as it is, a flat loss of money for having clients, but each client you have provides an extra 0.1% or 0.2% power to each area. Meaning that with 10 clients you will be losing money, but gaining an extra 1% or 2% power to all areas. So instead of +3.5% acceleration, you would have +4.5 or 5.5% at the cost of paying about 3M per race. I think this makes sense from a realism perspective, the more clients, the more insights you get and the better your chassis could be thanks to that extra info your clients provide!
Otherwise, I will be forced to stop providing the chassis, my economy is already tight enough.
