The transition between the old and new iGP should be made to ensure the expected design for the following season after the changes.
For example: If I gave emphasis to the development for next season and is expected 81%,
i can not be harmed by the change of set parameters to be tested in beta.

I think we should know what the plans are for the transition as it will affect how we develop the current seasons car. 

If we all go to a blank canvas, then we should still be warned as then everyone will know they can focus on the current season and not worry about the next, due to the transition.
