Is there any point of this on the headquarters if it doesn't help the staff in any way?

It will increase staff morale, which won't give you anything special because their main lvl / star will stay the same.

but we all know happy staff are more productive,

Look at Haas for example, punching well above their weight, staff are happy , Grosjean wont get sacked even though he's useless

look at Ferrari - everyone scared that their job is on the line, especially the the Team Principle,

the code for this game is the same, happy teams with more morale are better, i know this because ive been in the Matrix and the Oracle told. Neo was there!
