Not able to apply for another chassis

What did you try to do?
I put my own chassis manufacturing to ‘freeze’. And tried to be a chassis customer.

What happened instead?
The ‘apply’ option at other chassis suppliers is grayed out and not available.
I get the message ‘ you already have a chassis supplier’
When looking at my chassis supplier, it shows myself!!? Although i put chassis manufacturing to Freeze

I have the same problem, but is it possible that no one gives an answer???

I am also disappointed in the lack of feedback. I stopped my chassis production, so i have a crap car and no points towards chassis development.
My interest in this game is dropping rapidly

Yes, that is exactly what I experience.
Seems like i am still my own supplier, although i selected ‘freeze’ in the supplier options.
 
This prevents me from applying to be a customer somewhere else.

Unfortunately not :( another crap season started where i only can fight for positions 15 to 25 !?!
Seems more players have this issue in our competition and it will make players stop playing soon

I have a similar issue. 

I was a chassis supplier but with the ridiculous rules I froze it. I now have the option to become a supplier again. I DON’T want to do that but I can’t become a customer as it says I’m already someone’s customer. 
How do I change that?
This game has gone downhill since these updates earlier this year and the chassis complication is so frustrating as my car just cannot compete. 
Enjoy this game but please make it better
